TUESDAY 9-23-14

Do Now

What does the production of the boat have in common with the airplanes we are building?

What is production?

Objectives:

  1. Understand final requirements
  2. Airplane Production
  3. Airplane Submission

They scan the different parts to fix together right like the airplanes we are making.

Production is the making of the product. Both the planes and the boat had to be cut out with a laser to make the separate pieces to be put together later.

they both have a computer to cut out the parts for them to assemble the boat or plane.

1. What the production of the boat has in common with the airplanes that they were both scanned and cut out with perfection.
2. Production is the making of something.

The production of the boat has a lot in common with the plane we are making, they both need to be put together with the assembly off parts.

Production is the art of making something with parts or raw materials.

They use a computer guided machine to cut out the parts so that they will precisely fit together, and then they assemble the pieces to build the boat. Just as we used a laser engraver to cut out the pieces of our airplane so that they will perfectly together when we assemble them.

Production is the making or manufacturing from raw materials or components.

The production of the boat and airplanes both have a series of steps you have to do so that they can work and will not malfunction or be defective. Also, the parts are cut out and made into the shape of the boat or airplane to put together. If the boat parts are cut out right and the manufacturers follow the steps, then they can make a boat that hopefully will not sink. We have to cut out the airplane parts right or the pieces either will not line up correctly or it will not fly. No matter what you are using to make something, if it is not right then it will not work.

The production of the boat is similar to what we are doing with the airplanes because they both need a computer to cut out the exact shape needed to build the object as well as building it when the pieces are all cut out.

Production is the process of making something.

Production is the process of making something into the finished product. The production of the boat is similar to the airplanes we are making because they both need precision to be put together the right way and they both have parts cut out by a laser cutter.

1. They have similar procedures in the way that they both use a laser cutter to cut out the design perfectly for the pieces to fit correctly.
2. Production is the process of creating/ making/ assembling an item such as a boat or car.

the production of the boat is very similar to the production of our airplanes because we are using a laser cutter to get the exact shape that we need.

Production is the process of making something.

1.) we are doing the same, we are cutting it out and then taking our time to make our planes.

2.) getting the things needed to make what the job is taking time to put it all together to complete the finishing product.

The boat relates to our airplanes in the idea that they were both cut with a laser for precision. Production is the entire process of making something

Production is the assembly and creation of the object/project.

The boats production is similar to the production of our planes in the fact that they had to draft designs and finalize them, put said designs into a computer and laser cut it out.

1) Production- The process of actually making/assembly/building something from start to finish.
2) The common theme between the building of our planes and the boats is that they both use laser cutters to make pieces.

1.) production: assembling from the start of the project to finishing the project.
2.) the similarities between the boat in the video and the airplanes we are making are that they all start from scratch and become something by the end of the project.

1. Production: The assembly and creation of an object or project.
2. The similarity between the plane and the boat is that they both use the laser cutter to get accurate slices.

1. Production- To assemble a product or object from start to finish in a sequence of events.
2. The similaraties with the video and the project is that we are using a laser to cut out the shapes of the plane. The video showed a laser cutting steel to make parts of a boat.
